Join Us!

The uniform makes for brotherhood, since when universally adopted it covers up all differences of class and country.

— Lord Baden Powell (founder of Scouts)

Is it hard to join?

Nope, just show up to a meeting! It really is just that easy and we will walk you through everything else.

Any girl with at least one of her parents or a guardian can show up at any of our upcoming Troop meetings to learn about us and join.  Click here for our meeting and activity schedule.

What forms do I need to sign?

  • Scout application: On-line or download PDF
  • Adult application: On-line or download PDF
  • Medical forms (needed for camp-out trips) for scouts and adults need to be filled out and turned in prior to attending a weekend camp-out or scout week long camp.
  • Additional event specific forms (e.g., camping at Boy Scout owned property) may be required and will be noted as part of the event registration process.

What do I need to buy?

Uniforms: The scouts have two basic uniforms – the traditional uniform known as a field uniform and an activity uniform for exercise and outdoor activities. The official scout guide combined with the checklist & patch placement guide provides a complete picture. The field uniform can be bought on-line or at one of the three local Scout Stores in Allen, Dallas, or Lewisville. The staff at the local stores are incredibly helpful and walk you through exactly what you need to buy. Simply walk in and tell them your new to scouts – they will do the rest!

Camping & Hiking Equipment

The good news for you and our troop is that we are made up of families who enjoy camping so we have equipment to spare. Of course, you are welcome to use your equipment as well.
